Are the needles safe? Are the needles clean?

Yes, the needles are of the highest medical/surgical grade. We only use sterile, single use, disposable needles. We adhere to the strictest standards provided by OSHA (Occupational Saftey & Health Administration). There is absolutely no risk of transmitting disease using our needles and procedures. At Cosmetic Acupuncture Health and Wellness Clinic we only use the highest-grade needles on the market.

Does acupuncture hurt? What does it feel like?

Acupuncture moves internal energy. Everyone’s experience of this internal energy is entirely different. Some people report feeling a sensation of heaviness, a gentle feeling of warmth, or a feeling of energy traveling up and down the meridians (pathway of circulation). Some people feel the needles being inserted and some do not. If you do experience any discomfort it is usually very mild, rarely considered painful, and will quickly dissipate. Once the needles are in people get very relaxed and often fall asleep.

Do you bill insurance? What insurance do you accept?

You are responsible for your deductible, co-payment, and any non-covered or excluded amounts under your policy.
